My Approach
Don't let feeling tired, burnt out, and unwell become your "normal."
Many people have become so used to feeling unwell, they can't imagine what it feels like to be pain-free, full of energy, and not stressed out.

But I believe that if given the right tools the body has an amazing ability to heal itself.

I help my patients get to the root cause of their pain and fatigue by using an integrative, evidence-based approach.
My Journey
Growing up as a second generation Korean-Canadian, I experienced the effectiveness of both eastern and western medicine first-hand, and how the body has an amazing capacity to heal itself from a cellular level if given the right environment to thrive.

My fascination with the body led me to obtain a Bachelors degree in Cell Biology and Genetics at the University of British Columbia, and then a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in New Westminster, BC.

Utilizing the many tools I gained from my extensive training in sports injuries, nutrition, lifestyle counseling, supplementation, and botanical medicine, I strive to provide a truly integrative and individualized treatment plan to help empower my patients towards optimal physical, mental, and emotional health.

Background
Growing up in Coquitlam, B.C., I was always blessed to be surrounded by nature, clean food, clean air and clean water.

But I realized over time the QUALITY of these things would be crucial in in order to live a long, healthy life and enjoy the things I loved to do like playing basketball, practicing Judo, and practicing photography.

Through numerous endeavors around the world – from living on an organic tea farm in Korea, to harvesting lavender in California – I have learned to appreciate the power of eating good, real food, and I love to educate and share my passion for food and health by often giving talks at tea festivals and holding sourdough bread workshops.
What do I treat?
Naturopathic Medicine combines modern science with traditional and natural medicine to get to the root of the disease and stimulate the body's innate ability to heal itself. In other words, we balance and support your body and help give it the right environment for it to thrive.
How can I support you?
Consultations
I offer in-person or consultations via telemedicine where I will review your current and past health concerns, and formulate an individualized treatment plan to help you attain your health goals.
Advanced Lab Testing
Naturopathic Doctors have access to high quality testing services to measure your cholesterol, iron levels, vitamin status, hormones, food sensitivities and more.
Food Sensitivity Testing
The health of your gut affects almost every aspect of your health including fatigue, skin problems, digestion and hormones. Hidden food sensitivities may be contributing to your health picture.
IV Therapy
Sometimes you just need a boost. IV therapy is a great way to deliver vital nutrients, minerals, and amino acids directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system, for more reliable absorption into the body.

Get to feeling and performing your best. I offer spinal adjustments, soft tissue manipulation, orthopedic assessments, exercise and rehab regimens, as well as acupuncture, to get you moving great again.
Clinical Nutrition
What you put into your body will lay the foundation of your health. I work with you to understand your diet and ways to optimize what you eat as well as recommend vetted professional supplements.

"Docere" or "Doctor as Teacher" is one of the 6 principles of Naturopathic Medicine.
Knowledge gives people the power to make choices. Those choices become habits, and those habits become a lifestyle.
I love spreading the knowledge about health to people and educating them how to life a healthier lifestyle. I believe these small choices in life can add up to big changes in the long run.
As such, I've earnestly spoken at numerous talks, workshops and festivals to educate and motivate people to make these changes and take charge of their health!
If you would like to talk with me about giving a talk or exhibiting at a workshop please connect with me!
